Study on the Construction of Information Commons in the Reading-rooms of University Library

信息共享空间(IC)是新兴的以读者为中心的合作式学习环境和一站式服务模式。文章分析了高校图书馆独立的IC在建设中存在的缺陷,主张构建阅览室IC。阅览室IC的建设可以弥补独立IC存在的缺陷、解决当前高校图书馆阅览室发展面临的困难,促进高校图书馆向复合图书馆的成功转型。

The Infornlation Commons （IC） is a new reader - centered cooperative learning environment and one station service model. The patar analyzes the defects in the development of independent 1C in university libraries, and proposes that the university library should construct IC in the reading - rooms. The construc- tion of IC in the reading - rooms have important practical slgnificances, such as dealing with the difficulties in the current reading- room service, and promoting the transformation of traditional library into hybrid library
