a-ZrPillared montmorillonite was prepared and characterized by IR spectroscopy of pyridine adsorption and TPD of ammonia.The methanol amination was used as a probe reaction to study the acid catalytic activity of La-ZrPILC and compared with ZrPILC and Namontmorillonite. It is observed that the amount and stength of acid site for LaZrPILC are both smaller than that of ZrPILC, and the catalytic activities of the three samples decrease as follows: ZrPILC>LaZrPILC1/2>Namontmorillonite. However, the highest DMA selectivity is observed for LaZrPILC1/2 at 460℃.
