The boiling points of the methylal-methanol-formaldehyde-water system were determined by a new type of magnetically pumped ebulliometer under atmospheric pressure. These data had been treated using a method of “hypothetical saturated vapor pressure of formaldehyde” and the Wilson equation. The thermodynamic model of the system was established. The equilibrium composition of the vapor phase had been predicted.
