The holographic record and reconstruction (a laser reconstruction and a white light reconstruction) of the dynamic bubble character for foam devolatilization (FoamDV) in polydimethylsioxane (PDMS)cyclohexane system are studied. The results are as follows. Photos obtained by the reconstructing methods have the similar information. The bubbles are spherical. They move up almost straightly and grow continuously. The bubbles and their size distributions change with vacuum and initial cyclohexane concentration. When a hologram is reconstructed, there is a bright spot in the center of the bubble image on a focal plane. Otherwise, there is no any bright point in the bubble center out of the facal plane. The difference between the laser reconstruction and the white light reconstruction is that the bubbles for the different focal plane can not be reconstructed for the latter.The affecting factors are all discussed on a hologram quality, the diffraction efficiency, and a hologram reconstruction, the particle density limitations for inline and offline holography
