摘要
以图书馆职业发展趋势为基础,分析并探讨包括IFLA、加拿大图书馆协会和哈佛大学图书馆对馆员职业生涯管理方法的典型事例,对我国图书馆职业生涯管理提出建设性意见。包括:充分发挥图书馆协会的作用;重视图书馆员的在职培训;借鉴一对一的"辅导制";鼓励馆员参与各种实习和研究项目。
This paper begins with the discussion of the trends of library career development in the information age. Then the paper studies several examples of libraries and associations on how to conduct career development for librarians, including IFLA, CLA and Harford University Library. Finally the paper puts forwards some suggestions for libraries in China to carry out career development for librarians, including enhancing the library association's role and librarians training, mentoring and encouraging research projects.
