摘要
名词化是英语中常见的语言现象。以往研究多局限在语言系统内,未能结合语境分析名词化的使用和作者意图之间的关系。文章以批评性语篇分析为基础,对新闻语篇中出现的名词化现象进行系统的分析。从社会和意识的的角度探究使用名词化的原因,揭示名词化如何充当作者表达意识的工具。
Nominalization is one of the commonest phenomena in English. Many linguists fail to notice the relationship between the use of nominalization and writers＇ purpose. This thesis attempts to analyse nominalization in news discourse from critical linguistic perspectire systematically and explains the use of nominalization from social and ideological angles in connection with relevant contextual factors.
