摘要
地理信息系统(GIS,geographic information system)是随着地理科学、计算机技术、遥感技术和信息科学的发展而发展起来的一门学科。本文主要从结构功能上介绍了地理信息系统的概念及主要研究内容,同时介绍了当前地理信息系统在几个热点领域中的研究与应用。
Geographic information system （GIS） is a discipline which developed with the development of geography, computer technology, remote sensing technology and information science. This article mainly introduces the concept from the structure function and the main research content of the geographic information system, simultaneously introduces the current research and the application of the geographic information system in several hot spot domains.
