Introducing the evaluation about the uncertainty of the result measured by the coordinate measuring machine （CMM） in collision test. According to the uncertainty of measurement theory and the variance composition theorem, the mathematical model of the uncertainty of the result measured by CMM is built, and the sources of the uncertainty and the influence on the measuring result are analyzed, finally, the uncertainty of measuring result is obtained.
