Role of hepatic stellate cells in formation and regulation of hepatic fibrosis in schistosomiasis

肝星状细胞（hepatic stellate cell，HSC）是肝脏组织的一种间质细胞，具有多种生理功能，对肝纤维化的形成与转归起到关键作用。HSC同样在血吸虫病肝纤维化形成及其调节中起到重要作用。该文就HSC的生物学特性、活化及其在血吸虫病肝纤维化中的作用作一综述。

Hepatic stellate cell （HSC） , with a variety of physiological functions, is a kind of liver stromal cell. It plays an important role in the fonnation and regulation of hepatic fibrosis. HSC also plays a key role in hepatic fibrosis in schistosomiasis. This review focused on biological characteristics, activation of hepatic stellate cells and its role in hepatic fibrosis in schistosomiasis.
