STUDIES ON THE GENUS PHAEDUSA H. & A. ADAMS FROM CHINA (PULMONATA: STYOMMATOPHORA: CLAUSILIIDAE: PHAEDUSINAE)

作者系统整理了中国管螺属Ｐｈａｅｄｕｓａ的标本和有关资料，已知我国管螺属计有２２种，其中发现有３新种，即峨嵋管螺Ｐｈａｅｄｕｓａｅｍｅｉｅｎｓｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．、丹巴管螺Ｐｈａｅｄｕｓａｄａｎｂａｅｎｓｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．和三门管螺Ｐｈａｅｄｕｓａｓａｎｍｅｎｅｎｓｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。本文对旧有的种进行了整理和甄别，对新种的形态特征作了详细的描述，并与近似种进行了比较。

Phaedusa H. & A. Adams 1855 is a genus of the Oriental Realm. Most species of the genus are recorded from East and East Southern Asia and Southern China. The present paper reports the result of studies on the genus from China. It comprises 22 species, including 3 new species. All type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.1 Phaedusa emeiensis sp. nov. \ (Fig.1) Holotype (SI64088) length 15.1mm, breadth 3.9mm; length of aperture 3.9mm, breadth of aperture 3.9mm; Emei County (29°45′ N, 103°17′ E), Sichuan Province, China; August 8, 1964. Paratypes 29 specimens, length 14.7 15.3 mm, breadth 4 4.3 mm; lenght of aperture 3.6 3.9 mm, breadth of aperture 3.0 3.2 mm; Emei County (29°45′N, 103°17′E), Sichuan Province, China; August 8, 1964. Shell small, thick, conocidal, whorls 912, well convex. The surface dark brown, with deep suture, short fusiform. Apex acuminate. Body whorl contracted. Aperture small, pyriform, peristome white, thick, expanded and reflected. Superior lamella visible in aperture, and reaches the peristome. The principal plica and lunella plica long, with 4 plicae palatales at the last whorls and from the right parielal wall in lateral view. The clausilium slender tongue shaped, pedicle long. This new species differs from the closely related species Phaedusa pseudobensoni (Schmacker & Boettger, 1894) in the shape of suture, superior plica, lunella plica and clausilium.2 Phaedusa danbaensis sp. nov. (Fig.2) Holotype (SI640712) length 15.0mm, breadth 4.1mm; length of aperture 4.0mm, breadth of aperture 3.1mm., Zhanggu Town, Danba County (30°58′N, 101°35′E), July 12, 1964. Paratypes 37 specimens, length 14.1 15.0 mm, breadth 3.9 4.2 mm; length of aperture 3.9 4.2 mm breadth of aperture 2.8 3.3 mm, Zhanggu Town, Danba County (30°58′N, 101°35′E), July 12, 1964. Shell small, thick, solid, short fusiform conoidal, whorls 912, well convex. Surface dark brown. Apex acuminate, embryo whorls(2 3) smooth, with deep suture. Aperture small, pyriform peristome white, thick, expanded and reflected. Superior lamella and inferior lamella visible in aprture. The clausilium slender tongue shaped, principal plica long and with 3 palatal plicae short, spired at about 2/3 around the last whorls and from the right parietal wall in lateral view. This new species very closely resembles Phaedusa breviplica (Moellendorff, 1886), but differs from the latter chiefly in the length and breadth of shell being smaller; The latter with 7 palatal plicae short, and principal plica also short. 3 Phaedusa sanmenensis sp. nov. (Fig.3) Holotype (ZJ790524) length 12.5mm, breadth 3.1mm; length of aperture 3.1mm, breadth of aperture 2.5mm, Sanmen County (29°15′N, 121°35′E), May 24, 1979. Paratypes 48 specimens, length 11.8 14.0mm, breadth 3.0 3.1mm; length of aperture 2.6 3.1mm, breadth of aperture 2.0 2.5mm., Sanmen County (29°15′N, 121°35′E), May 24, 1979. Shell small, thick, long fusiform conoidal, whorls 812, well convex. spire long tower. Surface yellow brown. Apex acuminate, embryo whorls(2 3) smoth, with deep suture. Aperture small, pyriform, peristome white, thick, expanded and reflected. The right side of last whorl with the long principal plica seen through the shell. Superior lamella only visible in aperture. Spiral lamella in front subclumella lamella, nearly clausilum, inferior lamella quite visible. The clausilium big tongue shaped. This new species very closely resembles Phaedusa recedens (Schmacker & Boettger, 1894), but differs from the latter in the inferior lamella separated at the peristome, the principal plica long.
