中国马珠足甲螨属一新种(蜱螨亚纲:甲螨亚目:马珠足甲螨科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS MACHADOBELBA FROM CHINA (ACARI:ORIBATIDA:MACHADOBELBIDAE)

本文记述马珠足甲螨属一新种，歧马珠足甲螨Ｍａｃｈａｄｏｂｅｌｂａｂｉｆｕｒｃａｔａｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．采于云南勐仑热带植物园枯枝落叶层。模式标本保存于白求恩医科大学生物教研室。马珠足甲螨科系中国首次报道。

A new species of oribatid mites is described from Yunnan Province of Southern China. Machadobelba bifurcata sp. nov.\ (Figs. 1 2) Body length 472 μm,width 264 μm. Body colour brown. There are two species of the Machadobelba which have bifurcated sensillus(ss): M.symmetrica Balogh, 1958 from Africa and M. neotropica Balogh, 1988 from Southern America, but the new species differs from them in the following features:costulae longer than the latter; rostral setae situated on the longitudinal ridge; among notogastral setae 5 pairs long and flagelliform. Holotype (1993 1935),July. 1993, Xishuangbanna Tropical Garden in Menglun, Yunnan Province (21.9°N,101 2°E).ex litter. Type specimen is deposited in the Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences.
