分析了信息社会中我国经济贫困地区公共图书馆普遍面临的运作难、素质低、读者少等问题和原因,就应对信息社会挑战,加强贫困地区公共图书馆的服务方式、管理方式、资源共享、馆际互借、领导素质、特色化建设六个方面的工作创新阐述了自己的见解。
