摘要
VoIP是利用IP网络实现语音通信的一种先进的通信方法,语音压缩编解码技术是VoIP的关键技术之一,是VoIP网关及IP话机中的重要组成部分。叙述了以可配置VLIW结构的DSP来实现VoIP语音压缩编解码器的设计过程,其中包括VoIP编解码器的相关算法设计和DSP核配置生成,最后进行了FPGA验证,表明设计的VoIP语音压缩编解码器的性能完全能满足VoIP中实时、高效的全双工语音通信应用的需求。
DSP is generally used in software design and optimization. For better using of DSP resources, improving performance and reducing cost, a software and hardware co-design method is proposed. Through the example of VoIP speech codec design, this proposed confignrable VLIW (Very Long Instruction Word) DSP structure demonstrates its performance advantages, which achieves the optimization of software and hardware co- designing for applications.
