The paper discusses the content and functions of the cultural taste of college libraries, and proposes that the core of the cultural taste of college libraries is to respect and understand people, create conditions with people as the focus, guarantee overall and free development of people, realize the perfect combination of the service function and the educational function in college libraries. Therefore, college libraries must enrich literature resources, construct favorable inside and outside environment, provide superior and effective service, promote management proficiency and qualities of librians, thus ensuring the realization of the core of the cultural taste.
