January 14th, Canada's most prestigious high-tech enterprise, North America's largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nortel Networks submitted a application for bankruptcy protection to the United States Wilmington DE. Since the United States financial crisis, the high-tech industry is resisting the global slowdown with outstanding performance for the laptop, cell phone and other electronic consumer products at very robust global sales. However, as the crisis deepened, the high-tech industry also suffers a heavy blow.
