本文从病虫害及其天敌的分类、诱变微生物育种、遗传工程和生物降解有机农药等方面综述了现代生物技术在病虫害生物防治中的应用、存在的问题和前景。

Modem biotechnology was a new subject which based on recombination technique, cell culture technique and biological reaction technique. It was used in classification of diseases, insect pests and their natural enemies, mutation of microorganisies, genetic engineering and organic pesticide of biodegradation. This paper reviewed the application, the problem and prospect of biological control to diseases and insect pests with modem biotechnology.
