ODF document processing with ODF toolkit in an insurance solution

文档在业务处理中经常用到。手工的文档处理低效而易出错。在业界的解决方案中,电子表单经常用于自动文档处理,但是电子表单无法满足所有解决方案中的用户需求。作为基于XML的开放文档格式标准开放文档格式(ODF,ISO 26300)为业界提供了程序化处理文档的可能。借助ODF工具包(Tookkit),ODF文档数据可以被开发人员使用,他们不需要了解ODF规范就能管理这些数据。为了验证ODF和ODFToolkit可以带给业界的商业价值,IBMCSDL的标准化团队基于SOA架构创建了在保险业使用的ODF文档处理产品Prove of Concept。

Document processing is quite important and frequently involved in business processes in industry areas.The manually document processing will bring inefficiency and errors.In industry solutions,electronic forms are usually used to promote the automatically document processing.But electronic forms cannot satisfy all kinds of user requirements in industry solutions.Open Document Format(ODF),as an open XML-based document standard(ISO26300),offers industry the opportunity to programmatically manipulate documents and their data.With the help of ODF Toolkit,ODF document data is available for software developers to programmatically manipulate without any knowledge of ODF specification.To prove the business values that ODF and ODF Toolkit can bring to industry solutions,a Prove of Concept for ODF document processing in an insurance solution based on SOA infrastructure is created by Standards tam inside IBM CSDL.
