The deformtion caused by support dismantling may affect the security and stability of deep foundation pits and surroundings in soft ground.Based on the design and construction practices of a large number of deep foundation pits in soft soils,the treatment measures for controlling the deformtion caused by support dismantling are introduced through support replacement.Multiple support replacement methods under special conditions and their characteristics,main design issues and application conditions are discussed.It will provide some reference to the design and construction of similar projects.
