Research on the English Translations of the Selected Works of Mao Tse-tung from Multiple Perspectives

《毛泽东选集》英译凝聚了当时国内高水平翻译家的智慧和心血,在全球化语境下探讨《毛选》英译对于研究领袖著作外宣具有深远意义。本文选用《毛选》英译原始资料,拟从译本需求、译者研究以及译本对比等多维视角对《毛选》英译本展开研究。

The English translation of the Selected Works of Mao Tse -tung is a collective work, which ag-gregated wisdom and painstaking efforts of high -level domestic translators.The research on the English ver -sions of the Selected Works of Mao Tse -tung in the context of globalization is of profound significance for popu -larizing the works of leaders in foreign countries .The authors compare two English versions from the multiple perspectives, i.e.: version requirement, translator study and contrastive study .
