板坯连铸中间包控流装置优化的水模研究 被引量:1

Study on Optimizing Flow Control Devices for Slab Continuous Casting Tundish by Water Modeling

摘要 针对板坯连铸中间包设置合理的控流装置问题,采用水模实验方法对"挡墙+坝"组合方案进行了正交优化实验。实验结果表明,该中间包在无控流装置时存在短路流,死区较大;3号方案为所设计方案中的最优方案,能明显改善中间包内流场,延长钢水在中间包的停留时间,减小死区体积,增加活塞流体积,并且流股靠近液面,有利于夹杂物的上浮去除。 Water model experiments were taken to install proper flow control devices for a slab continuous casting tundish. Cases of "weir +dam" were optimized by orthogonal experiments. The results show that there are short circuit flow and large dead volume in the tundish without flow control devices. Case 3 can obviously improve the flow field, which lengthens the average residence time, makes dead volume decrease, plug volume increase. Furthermore, the flow is close to the surface when case 3 is used, which is helpful for inclusion removal.
