The general arrangement principal of jack-up drilling platform and the main performances of some latest units are introduced.The key technical points including variable load, drilling system, drilling tool storage and power system are analyzed.Then the general arrangement is illuminated synthetically.It is very important to clear the flow process and mutual relations among all systems.Finally, the principle of general arrangement is applied in a practice.
