The piping system stress analysis procedure for the centrifugal compressor unit of a natural gas long-distance pipeline is introduced. Allowable force conditions of the centrifugal compressor and matters for attention in piping system stress analysis are indicated. The software CAESARII is applied to analyze the stresses of the compressor unit at Hoerguosi initial station and it gets some conclusions.
