Studying the breeding and horticulture utilization of ornamental herbaceous peony at abroad can provide some references and models for the development and industrialization of peonies in China.The thesis analyzed the cultivation of peony in Europe,North America,Canada and New Zealand.And the breeding and utilization conditions in France,England and America were introduced,also.The features of breeding and cultivation were summed.Some suggestions of improving the level of peony industry in China were put forward as well.
