College computer foundation is a course with strong practical quality,computer foundation course should strengthen the ability of computer application and operation practice.During the teaching process,it is the most valuable to innovate the teaching methods.This paper discussed the choice principles of teaching cases used by computer foundation course,gave some typical teaching cases,and conclude the significance of case-teaching finally.It was proved that we acquired better teaching effects,and teaching quality was improved evidently too by using case-teaching method.It was good for cultivation in student's application and innovation ability.
