摘要
根据近几年来关于台湾地区北西向构造研究的最新进展,以北部菲律宾板块俯冲带和南部南海次板块俯冲带北西向的交界线为界,研究了北南两个区域深源地震分布的对称性,说明在此研究区域的构造活动上两个方向相反的俯冲带起到了控制作用。研究中还发现南海次板块深源地震、两个俯冲带的震级影响函数与粤闽交界及台湾海峡区域中强地震有较好的对应关系,两者都显示自2000年以来粤闽交界及台湾海峡处于5级以上地震平静期。
Based on the latest research developments of the NW structure in Taiwan in recent years,this paper studied the deep earthquakes' symmetry in two regions separated by the northwest boundary line between Philippine subduction zones in northern part and South China seas subduction zones in southern part.The results showed the two opposite subduction zones had played a tectonic activity controlling role in this area.Good relationships were showed between deep earthquakes in South China seas Plate,magnitude impact function of two subduction zones and moderate-strong earthquakes in adjacent area of Guangdong,Fujian provinces and Taiwan straits.The two relationships showed that the adjacent areas of Guangdong,Fujian provinces and Taiwan straits had a quiet of 5 magnitude earthquakes.
