The Characteristics and Implications of American "Teachers' Teaching Development"

摘要 教师教学发展主要是指职业知识、教育知识和教学能力三个方面的发展。与传统的教师培训不同,教师教学发展旨在充分调动教师的教学积极性,变"被动培训"为"主动发展"。促进高校教师教学发展是提高大学教学质量的前提和关键。美国高校在教师教学发展方面起步早,发展较为成熟。应积极借鉴其成功经验,探索构建我国高校包括理念先导化、组织制度化、形式多样化、评价多元化的"教师教学发展"体系,不断提升高校教学质量和人才培养质量。 Teachers' teaching development mainly refers to the development of professional knowledge,educational knowledge and teaching ability.Contrary to traditional teacher training,the purpose of teaching development is to fully arouse teachers' teaching initiatives,changing 'passive training' into 'active development'.College teachers' teaching development is the premise of and key to improving the quality of higher education.With reference to American college teachers' teaching development,which has had an early start and has come to the stage of maturity,this paper attempts to establish a system of 'teachers' teaching development' for Chinese universities,the content of which include notion-first,systematized organization,diversified forms and multi-way of evaluation.It is hoped that such a system may help raise college teaching quality and college talent training quality as well.
