The Songshan-Hanrong African Art Collection Museum recently opened its doors to the public in Changchun City,northeast China’s Jilin Province.The museum boasts Makonde art from East Africa,with 12,000 pieces of exquisite African wood carvings and paintings donated by Li Songshan and his wife Han Rong on display.Li internationally is a significant collector of Makonde art.He shares his story with ChinAfrica.
