试论转型时期军事院校大学英语课程体系改革 被引量:2

On the Reform of Military Academy English Curriculum During the Period of Educational Transformation

摘要 目前,我国军事院校正处于学历教育转型的特殊时期,改革要求军校教育应体现"军味",满足新时期国家对高素质军事人才的需求。而军校大学英语教学仍遵循地方院校课程体系设置,面临培养人才无法胜任专业职务的困境。本文从我军外语教学的历史沿革出发,探究军校大学英语教学的现状及困惑,尝试对军校大学英语学科重新定位,并提出课程体系改革理念及设计方案,旨在建立一个既能培养学员基础英语能力与军事理论素养,又能体现英语教育人文内涵的课程体系。 Nowadays, military academies in China are faced with a special period of academic educational transformation, in which education in military academies is supposed to possess the military characteristics that are able to fulfill the new requirements from our country of high-caliber officers. Though, the present systematic construction of military academy English curriculum still follows the example of that of general College English, resulting in their undergraduates’ incapacity in their specialized jobs. This paper, based on reflection over the history of foreign language teaching in Chinese armies, explores the existing problems and confusion in military academy English teaching, sets a tentative teaching goal to this discipline to cater for an integrated education and redefines the philosophy of military academy English curriculum. It aims at creating a curriculum that provides the cultivation of integrated ability of English application and military theories and that reflects the humanistic tradition of English language education.
