英语写作中词汇重复现象研究

中国英语学习者在英语写作中喜欢重复不必要的词汇,并因此造成冗余现象,就重复形式而言,可以分为同一单词的重复使用和词汇语义(名词、动词、形容词等)重复两种。造成冗余现象的原因有:语言本质的差异、词汇表达能力的差异、东西方民族不同文化及心理因素对英汉不同表达习惯的影响等。

Chinese English learners tend to repeat unnecessary words in English writing,thus leading to redundancy.Such repetition can be divided into two forms:re-use of the same words and repetition of words'(noun,verb,adjective,etc.) meaning.There are three factors accounting for this phenomenon:different nature of Chinese and English language,different expressing ability of words and different expressing habits resulting from culture difference and psychological factors of English and Chinese.
