英汉动名词结构的可译性及其限度

Translatability and Limitation of English and Chinese Gerundial Structures

可译性及其限度是翻译的普遍规律,英语和汉语两种语言系统在文化和语言上的共性和个性使英汉动名词结构具有可译性,但同时又有限度。本文在比较英汉语的文化和语言的基础上研究其动名词结构的可译性及其限度,期望缩小该可译性限度,将翻译效果最佳化。

With translatability and limitation as general rules in translation,the common and particular things in English and Chinese as well as in their cultures make English and Chinese gerunds translatable,but with limitation meanwhile.Based on the comparison of English and Chinese and that of their cultures,this article explores the translatability and limitation of English and Chinese gerundial structures,trying to decrease the limitation and achieve the best translation.
