摘要
词汇衔接是英语语篇重要的衔接手段之一。本文以著名演讲稿IHaveaDream为例,对其中的词汇衔接手段与篇章主题之间的关系进行分析,尝试论述词汇衔接手段对于篇章主题所起到的凸显作用。
Lexical cohesion is one of the most important English text cohesion devices.Taking 'I Have a Dream' as an example,this paper analyses the relations between lexical cohesion devices and its theme.The results indicate the highlighting effects of lexical cohesion devices on the text's theme.
