China attempts to lure talent from overseas The first batch of young researchers selected for China’s 1,000 Young Talents Program was announced on November 11. The program, which started in early 2011,will select 2,000 topnotch young researchers with overseas expe-rience over the next five years. Successful applicants will receive large grants and other benefits from the Chinese Government.
