"What Kind of Research We are Doing":An Evaluation of Chinese Public Administration Research

为了避免行政学研究陷入缺乏反思的自说自话境地,本文对近十年来中国行政学研究的主要成果做了评估。基于现有的行政学研究成果,作者指出,中国行政学研究有如下几点需要引起关注:存在研究品质危机与学科合法性危机;行政学研究滞后于行政学教育的发展。作者希望,论文所提出的反思可以激发更多关于中国行政学的负责任的讨论。

This paper gives an evaluation to the Chinese public administration during the latest ten years.As indicated by this study,there are three points we should focus on Chinese public administration research:1)Facing a research quality crisis.2)Discipline legitimacy crisis is still grave.3)Public administration research is lagging behind public administration education system.It is suggested by this study,to improve the quality of Chinese public administration research,a lot more responsible discussions are needed.
