The success of GOME lies in its transformation in channel management and a fine construction of operation platform.Furthermore,devoting its mind to a certain subdivision make the process of success much shorter.In any industries where there is low profit and price war,an effort in cost reduction is needed in the progress of supply chain,distribution channel and marketing,etc.Similarly,ex- cessive commodity categories and brands,and severe competition abound in clothing market.Hence,the clothing specialty shop is in a trend in recent years. Using the development of GOME as an reference,a clothing specialty shop will only drive the whole clothing industry into extremities if it adopt low price strategy in the market competition.What we can do is to form a correct operation platform for clothing specialty shop by using orientation strategy flexiblly,value added service and branding strategy. Moreover,in order to realize chain store ex- pansion and high efficient operation,the management need to pay enough attention to informationalized efficiency,and use a reasonable method to realize the management.Besides,as a suggestion for the founder of the shop,brand conscious- ness will be good for a long-term development.
