The traditional Chinese culture emphasizes a kind of emotional experience in life.It integrates certain cultural spirit in it as well.The gist of the artistic expression of Chinese Gu Qin Art——Yi Yun or lingening charm is precisely the modal of this spirit ,the connotation of which is broad and profound.Confucianism、Taoism claiming that nature is the origin of life,pervade the entire artistic expression of Gu Qin Art.This unification of nature and life is just expressed through Yi Yun in Gu Qin Art,which includes emphasizing the methods of aesthetic appreciation and pursing individual psychological experience,highlighting the understanding and feeling of human beings towards the arts.Gu Qin Art embodies the essence of culture and thinking of Chinese nation,which is to say,the significance of Gu Qin Art in the development of Chinese culture is not confine in the musical value,it is the symbol of Chinese Humanism.This article presents the researches of Gu Qin Art and holds the opinion that the core meaning which Gu Qin expresses is Yi Yun or lingering charm,which means the process of appreciating culture in life.
