东北的评剧,在伪满期间虽然处境艰难,实力削弱,但仍然顽强地生存下来,并有所发展。不仅编演了一大批新戏,而且在艺术上也有所创新,从而赢得了观众的喜爱。在解放战争期间,国统区的评剧奄奄一息,而解放区的评剧却获得了新的生机。戏班经过初步民主改革,面貌一新,既改革传统剧目,又编演革命新戏,使戏改工作得以顺利展开。

Northeastern Pingju Opera grown hardly in the time of Puppet Manchu Government.However,the artists not only created lots of new operas,but also innovated in many ways.What they had done attained audiencei s avocation.In the time of War of Liberation,the Pingju Opera in The Kuomintang-controlled Area suffocated while the opera in liberated area bloomed. Theatrical troupes reformed traditional theater pieces,created new revolutionary pieces,which got a new life for the opera.
