Record sleeve design is a special and minor category of modern visual art design. Originating from U.S., it has witnessed rapid progress in the 1970’s. A multitude of classic works have emerged throughout time. The paper elaborates on the 10-year peak time of such design, in a bid to solve the current problem of placing too much value on efficiency instead of on internal taste.
