Rational Choice of Social Mission for University Organization

大学作为一种独特的社会组织,必须承担一定的历史责任与社会使命。大学的使命与其它社会组织使命一样通过组织的宗旨,理想、精神与实践具体表现。不同的时代有不同的政治、经济、文化发展需要,不同的社会利益集团对大学的要求也有很大差异。面对现代社会复杂多样的需求,大学应该如何回应?有适应才有生存,有批判才有引领,大学必须谨慎地回答,理性地选择。

Social mission of university organization is an important topic of higher education research. In different eras, university organization plays different roles. At present, many social and academic forces have led to questions and concerns about higher education. The author hold the view that the university should adapt to the society initiatively, and it must find a way of existence—guiding the society. It is very important to find a balance point between adaptation and transcendence.
