摘要
新时期大学英语教学中仍普遍存在教学理念相对滞后、教学方法和教学手段相对单一、学生的实际应用能力薄弱和教学急功近利倾向严重等问题。面对以上问题,需要从以下四个方面采取相应措施来推进大学英语教学改革顺利进行:加大对英语教师的培训力度;增加对教学条件的投入;增强对大学英语教学的监控和检查;积极实施四六级考试改革。
In modern times college English teaching is still facing such problems as out-dated concept,simple teaching method and technique,students' inability and the utilization of teaching.The following actions should be taken to promote the reform of college English teaching: strengthen the training of English teachers,invest more in improving teaching conditions,monitor and inspect college English teaching and carry out the reform of Band-4 and Band-6 Exam.
