自考既是新农村建设的内容之一,同时也是建设新农村的重要途径。自考是加快新农村建设的加速器:一是有利于快速开发新农村建设中所需之人才资源;二是有利于促进新农村新农民继续教育的发展;三是有利于快速构建新农村全民学习型社会。最后思考了自考如何更好的为新农村建设服务的措施:一是要增强自考为新农村建设服务的时代使命感;二是要建立适应为新农村建设服务的自考新模式。

The self-taught higher education examinations is not only one of the content of new countryside's construction,but also an important access to construct new countryside.It's an accelerator to speed up the construction of new countryside.First,it helps to train people to be qualified for new countryside's construction.Second,it can improve the further education of new farmers.Third,it helps to construct a learning society in the countryside.In the end,the article puts forward two measures on how the self-taught higher education examinations can serve new countryside's construction so well:one is to enhance its contemporary mission to serve new countryside's construction,the other is to form a new model correspondingly.
