闽台古代书院研究是中国教育史研究中的重要组成部分。闽台两地曾是书院教育的繁盛之域,有许多书院的文献与遗址保存至今,值得认真研究。论文力图将闽台古代书院置于中华文化的背景之下,尤其放在闽台文化的背景下,从两岸古代书院历史关联的角度进行深入的比较,藉此考索闽台古代书院的共同母体渊源和承递关系以及对现代教育的启示。

Studies on ancient academies in Fujian and Taiwan play an important part in the field of educational history research in China.In the past,Fujian and Taiwan were prosperous regions of academy education,where there were a lot of literatures and ruins preserved up to now which are well worth studying.Under the background of Chinese culture,especially the culture in Fujian and Taiwan,the article compares the differences and similarities of ancient academies thoroughly based on their interrelationship in the past.The purpose is to explore the origin,their successive relationship and to give some enlightenment on modern education.
