Application of Noble Metals in Gas Sensors

气体传感器是指伴随气体种类和浓度的变化而输出与这些变化相对应的电信号的元件,在气体检测、环境保护等方面有着非常重要的意义,近年来得到了广泛应用。在气敏元件制备过程中,Pt、Pd、Ag等贵金属及其化合物发挥了显著作用,能明显改善元件性能。例如,纯贵金属可用于制备元件的电极及电极引线、加热元件等,有效降低电阻、增加催化性能;将贵金属或其化合物掺杂于气敏功能材料中,可以提高传感器的灵敏度、对气体的选择性。本文综述了近年来将贵金属应用于气体传感器上的大量实例加以说明。

Gas sensors were the devices which transformed the imformation including the pecies,concentrations of gas to electric signals.They were widely used in gas detection and environment protection recently years.The noble metals,such as Pt,Pd,Ag,et al.,played very important roles in the gas sensors.For example,pure noble metals were served as heaters,electrodes and their down-leads,which reduced resistance and increased catalysis of the components;pure metals and their compounds were also added to gas sensitive materials to im- prove their sensitivity and selectivity to certain gas et al..A lot of examples about these were shown in this pa- per.
