H.264/AVC在数字安防监控系统中的应用

H.264/AVC Application in Digital Security Monitoring System

摘要 目前数字安防监控系统采用基于H.263的硬件压缩卡压缩处理庞大的图像信息,但是压缩卡具有许多局限性,而且编解码后的模糊细节无法得到处理。介绍了新一代视频编码标准H.264编码过程中的关键技术:帧内预测编码及其选定、变换与量化过程、运动估计和运动补偿原理、帧内和帧间预测模式的选择等,采用此标准实现了数字视频监控系统图像的纯软件压缩,同时采用图像增强的方式对编解码后的图像进行了处理,改善了图像质量,提取安防监控录像中的有用信息,有效地提高了监控系统的处理能力。 In digital security monitoring systems,hardware compressing card based on H.263 is used to compress a high quality of image. Because the capability of compressing card is limited and many unclear details which are decoded can't be dealed with,a new video compres- sion standard-H.264 is proposed to realize software compression and the way of image enhancement is adopted to deal with the decoded image, so some useful information from monitoring video is gained.Some key technologies are discussed,i.e.intra-prediction mode,transform and quantization,motion estimation,the alternative of intra-prediction mode and inter-prediction mode.The results obtained show the good effec- tiveness.
