摘要
利用现场可缩程门阵列驱动字符型液晶显示模块(LCM).详细说明了字符型液晶显示器的工作原理及数据流程,重点对其内部驱动芯片HD44780各引脚和时序进行研究,建立FPGA模型.对各个模块功能加以说明,通过硬件描述语言VHDL编程实现,并给出部分主要程序代码,Spartan3E系列的XC3S500E目标芯片上通过调试.
Driving LCM by FPGA was investigated,explain in detail the theory of LCM.The main point is to control the pins and the time sequence of the driving chip HD44780,set up FPGA model.,and exlain each part of the model.All the functions were programmed with the hardware description language VHDL, key code of the program,and were dow nloaded into the object chid XC3S500E,Spartan3E Series,Xilinx.
