Development outline of Varicella Zoster Virus(VZV) and its vaccine

摘要 水痘-带状疱疹病毒是儿童期水痘和经过潜伏再度激活引发带状疱疹的病原体.近年来,水痘和带状疱疹发病率明显增高,该病抗病毒药物治疗效果不明显.就该病毒的分子生物学特性、动物模型和免疫性,以及减毒活疫苗的应用、亚单位疫苗和DNA疫苗的研究开发情况进行综述,以提高对该病毒的进一步认识. Varicella Zoster Virus( VZV) is the cause of chickenpox and shingles. VZV can cause chicken-pox in children and reactivation of VZV infection can cause shingles in adults. The incidence of chickenpox and shingles increases more in recent years. Effect of antivirus treatment is not good. That the molecular biological characteristics, animal model and immunity of the virus, the application of live attenuated vaccine, development of subunit are described and DNA vaccine also include it.
