Major Directions of Economic Linkages:Some Theoretical Considerations

本文认为在非均质空间和近于理智的人类活动条件下，城市和区域城市体系的空间结构受到主要经济联系方向的牵引而有某种规律性。这不仅被大量事实所证实，也可应用于城市规划、区域规划和城镇体系规划。作者建议规划工作者要着力于分析城市与区域的主要经济联系方向，并提出中心区位城市在内向型计划经济时代常具有较大发展优势；门户区位城市在外向型市场经济时代更具发展活力的论断。

Abstract The spatial structure of urban system has natural laws affected by the development trend of the main economies,especially under the condition of the unbalanced spatial distribution and the reasonable human activities.Urban,regional planning and urban system planning must follow the law.The paper reminds planners to be aware of it and regards that the central located cities have the advantages in internal economic development at the time of the planned economy while the border located cities enjoys vitality in external economy in market system.
