摘要
提出了一种针对路由器实时性能评估的动态指标体系和若干动态性能指标定义,介绍了相应的测量方法和测量体系结构。与传统的静态性能指标相比,该动态指标体系能够更好地反应路由器在不同网络流量负载情况下的性能表现和服务能力,相应的测量方法能够在骨干网络环境中低成本部署和应用,在较小测量范围内实现对路由器整体性能的测量和评估。
Aimed at real-time router performance evaluation, a new dynamic metric system is defined together with several new metrics. The corresponding method and architecture are also introduced. Compared with traditional static metrics, the new metrics work better in denoting router's performance and service capability in various traffic payload environments.The related measurement method & architecture can be deployed in backbone network at a cost-effective way and can be used to evaluate the core router's whole performance status in a limited measurement scale.
