摘要
LS算法在频域对OFDM系统的信道进行估计方面,具有简单、易实现的优点。维纳滤波可以有效地改善LS估计器的性能,但会增加系统的计算复杂度。该文利用主分量分析的方法,提出了一种能有效地降低系统的复杂度的算法。该算法首先利用LS算法在频域对OFDM系统的信道参数进行粗略估计,然后利用改进后的低复杂度维纳滤波器对所获得的信道参数进行滤波。理论分析及仿真结果表明,该方法在估计性能损失不大的情况下,能有效地降低系统估计的计算复杂度。
Least Square (LS) algorithm used in the frequency domain for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) channel estimation is simple and easy to realize. However, the mean square error of LS algorithm is higher. Wiener filter can be used to improve the performance of LS algorithm, but the complexity of system will increase. Based on the principal component analysis method, a low complexity algorithm is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm has two steps. Firstly, the LS estimator is exploited to obtain the channel information in the OFDM system and then a Wiener filter with low complexity is utilized to improve the performance of LS estimator. Theoretic analysis and simulation results show that this new approach can reduce the complexity greatly with a little loss in performance.
