摘要
发散性思维是一种推测、发散、想象和创造的思维过程,它强调通过联想和迁移对同一个问题形成尽可能多的答案并寻找多种正确途径。本文认为,在高校英语教学中,教师可以通过联想趣味教学,精心设计课堂提问、讨论式教学来培养学生的发散性思维。同时,教师不断提高自身素质也是进行发散性教学的需要。只有这样,在大学英语课堂中才能实现培养学生的创新精神和实践能力,实现从应试教学到素质教学的转变,培养适合新世纪发展要求的大批创新性人才。
Poly-dimensional thinking is a kind of thinking process of presuming,radiation,imagination and creation.It emphasizes on forming various solutions or achieving multiple right ways through association and imagination.This paper elaborates the necessity of improving the old and traditional English teaching by introducing poly-dimensional thinking,and believes that the new ways such as association teaching and discussion teaching are better for fostering students' creativity.
