On the Paradigms of Transference in Translation and Interpretation

翻译的核心是转换,是各种符号、各类信息的转换。本文通过分析翻译过程中语言符号、心理符号、文化符号的对应方式,探讨翻译转换的内在特点与形态。

Translation, as well as interpretation, is a matter of transference, transference of signs and messages. The present paper makes a philosophical argument on the paradigms of transference through the analysis of both linguistic corresponding-patterns and non-linguistic corresponding-patterns, and will, therefore, provide for a better understanding of translatology as an independent discipline.
